When it comes to creating scents and collections, I always have a feeling in mind that I want to convey through fragrance. For Fall this year, I ditched the strictly cozy-sweater weather - flannel vibe in favor of a more introspective, reflective, almost spiritual one to align with Autumn’s symbolism. So for Winter this year, I wanted to bring it back to tradition and the simple joys of the holiday season. This theme happens to align with my life right now, and so it feels just right. I have let people and situations go this year that have held me back from feeling truly happy around the holidays, and I am committed to creating warm, sweet, blissful memories for my family and my little girl.

One day recently, I lit up a Midnight Cider candle after a very annoying day. You know those days where you feel like you're on 'The Truman Show' because the day's events are just...ridiculous? So I lit the candle, took a shower, turned down the lights, and stepped outside for some air. After a little while, I came back in and was met with the calmest, warmest, slightly sweet fragrance. It stopped me in my tracks and my shoulders settled, my facial tension fell away, and I could fully exhale. I headed straight for my cozy blanket and threw on a movie.

I felt better immediately. The scent made it unreasonable for me to hang onto the sour mood from the day. It was out of my control!
